Blast from the Past - Tie Dye

When you think of tie-dye, what comes to mind is long-haired hippies, peace signs, Volkswagens, and Woodstock; however, tie-dye is making a come back with a more modern flair.

The following dresses are from Swell.

This purple tie-dye dress is $14.99.

Multicolor dress for $29.99.

This dress is for $42.00.

This beige and black tie-dye dress is selling for $49.50

Grey raceback tie-dye dress for $49.50

Long hoodie from Sears comes in 2 colors: Navy and Pink for $12.99 each.

These summery tie-die scarves are only $1.99 online from New York & Co.!

This multi-purple tie-dye scarf is $12.95 on Amazon.com

This multi-colored scarf by Peach Couture can also be found on Amazon.com for $17.95.

I love this scarf. It's a bit pricy, but I love the colors. You can find it on Piperlime for $55.00.

This cute tie-dye bag from Sahalie for $34.95 is perfect for summer.

This leather tie-dye sandal is absolutely adorable. The price is a bit steep, but it is leather and so the quality should be quite good. You can find it on Blufly's website for $159.00. It comes in a variety of colors as well and would look really cute with maxi dresses, skinny jeans, and loose linen pants.

Urban legends

Everything listed here can be found on Urban Outfitters online store.

Here's a cute floral tunic. I believe it comes in blue although the picture shows it in black. The only size available left in this tunic is small. It is priced at $9.99.

These mixed bangles are so cute! The turquoise color is perfect for the warm weather. They're only $6.99.

These pretty in pink sunglasses are adorable! They are perfect for spring and summer. Wear it with any solid color hijab. Just $4.99!

The neutral eyeshadows in this pod would compliment any outfit in your wardrobe. Get it for $6.99.

These flats come in four different colors: Yellow, Pink, Black, and Grey and only cost $14.99! I'm really loving the yellow and pink ones for the spring and summer. They will look great with jeans and even your long spring/maxi dresses.

I love the feminine and renaissance feel of this cardigan due to the lace detail on the shoulders and on the back. It comes in 3 colors: beige with black lace, greyish black with black lace, and red with white lace. These are nice to pair with long dresses or skirts, or even if you wear pants with a longer shirt underneath. It's on sale for $19.99.

This could be the child or indie girl in me, but I think this watch is really cute. Especially with a nice beige flowing dress, skirt, or spaghetti strap dress paired with a vintage looking jean jacket. It sells for $19.99.

Nautical looking apparel is really in right now. I saw this dress and immediately thought that this could be a great way to pull that look off.  It costs $14.99.

If you want to make it more modest, pair it with some jeans and a mid-length cardigan in either black or red. If wearing a black cardigan, I would pair it with a white hijab. If you are wearing a red cardigan, I would pair it with a black hijab. This would look great with some flats and a beaded necklace or a chain necklace with an anchor pendant.

Floral scene

Like a watercolor painting, this bright floral maxi dress with an accompanying belt is the epitome of spring time. The dress costs $85 at bebe. Pair it with a cardigan and some cute sandals.

Flowers, ruffles, and purple...oh my!

I absolutely love this dress. I own another long halter dress by Mango and it is by far my favorite maxi dress in my closet. The quality is great and the colors are bold. The ruffles on the shoulders gives a more feminine feel to it. Pair it with a long sleeve shirt underneath or better yet, a cute green or purple cardigan over it. If you want to feel a little edgy, couple it with a black leather jacket. You will not be disappointed with this little number.

You can find the dress on Mango's website for $99.90

Pants Galore

Here are a few pants that will go with almost everything in your closet. These are great prices and some of the pants come in different colors; however some only come in certain sizes so hurry and get them before they're gone!

Empire waist of mind

You can get this fun and comfy black empire waist dress (which can also be worn as a shirt and probably even cuter as a shirt in my opinion) for only $9.99 online at Macy's! This is an item that you can dress up or dress down with skinny jeans. Layer on some chain necklaces, chunky bangles, a hobo bag, and your choice of flats or pumps and you are good to go!

Tribal Fusion

Here are some great deals for tribal and abstract looking halter dresses from Target's online store.

This dress is $8.74:

This dress is going for $8.04.

This dress is $8.74.

These dresses are great for summer and perfect for strolling on the beach!

Achieve two ends with a single effort

I love this item because it is a woman pleaser. Sorry guys :P It's a shirt dress so you can wear it as a shirt, coupled with a pair of skinny or even wide leg jeans OR you can wear it as a dress, depending on your preference.

You can find it at dELiA*s for $44.50. I think it is totally worth it. For all you modest sisters out there, it is a great investment because it is so hard finding a top that is long sleeves and covers the behind as well! It would make for a perfect work shirt. Me wants!

Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet. -Roger Miller

From the looks of these Jeffrey Campbell Marsha boots, you can't even tell that they are actually rain boots! Don't let the rain put a damper on your fashion parade.
